hi there folks.

i've recently got back into riding, after scoring an old '88 gixxer 750.
it's a cool bike, and i really enjoy blasting around on it,but i only got it as a stepping stone till i can save up for something a bit newer, with lower km's.

eventually i'd like to get something between '95-2001,but like any vehicle i persue,i would like to get it checked out thoroughly, as there is only so much that can be checked out on initial inspection.and i'm certainly no mechanic.

what i was wondering, does AA do checks on motorbikes like they do on cars?

cheers in advance

Yes.

But, personally I would be more confident getting my local and trusted mechanic to look a potential bike over.

odds are, i wouldn't be buying locally.

not the biggest selection in taranaki.

Find the bike you like in any area and I'm sure if you ask nice enough you will be able to find someone on here who will look at the bike on your behalf.

that's a cool idea.

one of the things i really like about bikers,is the comaradery and friendly attitude.
it seems there's always someone willing to lend a hand if needed.

out riding the other day,i happened to pass a poker run going the other way.
i spent the next five minutes answering a barrage of waves.

tell me the last time someone waved because you were driving your car?
or stopped because you had a problem on the side of the road?
