hi, first time blogger.gr8 forum guys, can anyone give me some feedback on metzeler tyres. My ducati comes standard with metzeler 180/55zr/17 rear, which dont have any centre tread, they are ok except on wet roads, and are quite long lasting but a bit hard to judge when they are poked.I wouldnt want to use them beyond their use by date, what do others say

They actually last as long as a "use by" date?? Stick some Avon Storms on when you replace them. Grip is phenomenal, especially in the wet. An Avon Viper on the front is also superb, but it won't last as long.

I assume you're talking about Metzeler Z6s?
I second what Blackbird said about the Avon Storms. Michelin Pilot Road 2s are good, too.
Both the Michelins and the Avons have the reputation of being better performers than the Metzelers.
