Thanks to all you Capital Coasters, my trusted lieutenants, the sponsors and my family for an absolutely MASSIVE event, I'll be buzzing for weeks from that.
Next CCA will be March or April 2010.
Thanks for going easy on the ground in the right places, the Regional Park Ranger was happy and thanks for leaving the school tidy.
Now lets hear the stories and see the pictures....

What a bloody awesome weekend. Big big thank you to John and his crew. The riding was absolutely fantastic and the meal and facilities were excellent (wish the school pool was as warm as that when I was at school!).
It was great to final meet so many of the KB/ADV crew and it was amazing that so many turned up for the ride! I'll defiantly be back for another.
Also thanks to the KR guys for looking after the demo bikes, though one was looked after a little better (read faster) than the others. I had a blast on the 990 Adv, though I might have to sell my soul to the devil now - one day I shall have one of those big orange hearted beasts!
Speaking of big beasts - congratulations to all of the litre plus bike riders who did all the challenges. We only had to help one 1200 GSA rider up the steep bit on what I think was challenge 7 (about 5.5kms before hydro road/orange hut)?
I'll put up a Google earth file (kml) later once I have edited out my and Stretch's (while I was riding the 990) navigational errors. Also I'll stick up a couple of photos I have (didn't get too many) later on.
Cheers R
Edit - put my pics over here (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showpost.php?p=1540258&postcount=50).

I have finally finished cleaning my GPS track log of the route I rode i.e. all the challenge sections. I'm not going to post the file on KB as I don't want all of 4Skins good work organising access ruined by people riding the off road tracks without getting permission first. So, if anybody wants a copy of a file that can be viewed in Google Earth (kmz file) please send me a PM with you email address. Alternatively I have a gpx file and a gdb file available, if you dont know what these formats are for then just ask for the google earth file.
The GPS managed to maintain lock over the whole route so there are no breaks in the track but I suspect that the accuracy suffered in some of the valleys.
Cheers R
