Just after a good chain for my Volty as the current one is stretched. Oh, and also some sprockets if the price is right, the maaaaybe the same as a gn250 set as it has the same engine etc but that's only a guess.

Cheers.

Haha, thanks. Was trying to see if there was anyone whom happened to have one and wanted to get rid of it... wanting to avoind paying retail if I can.

Looks like I'm gonna have to bite the bullet on this one though.

Retail on a heavy duty GN chain is like $60 , that'll last a while. If the chain is shagged, what are the sprockets like? Chucking a new chain on rooted sprockets = just another screwed chain

Cheers dude, $60 is alot better than I expected! Dunno bout the sprockets, my mate reckons they're ok and they seem alright to me but I'd rather ask someone who deals with bikes all the time as I wouldn't really have a clue, haha.

Change the sprockets at the same time. They may look OK, but if the chain is worn then the shape of the grove and teeth on the sprocket has changed. A new chain will quickly be destroyed if they are not both changed at the same time.

A cheap chain will cost $30 through Boyd m/cycles in Ham.
I fitted the cheap one to Kanny's Volty because:
Voltys don't have much HP to destroy cheap chains.
It goes on gravel/tracks often, so why waste money on abusing expensive chains.
I'm a cheap bastard.
(it is stretching, but should get 20000km from it).
