Was speaking to Dave Milligan of www.getrouted.com.au the other day and he mentioned he is thinking of running a shipment of Kiwi bikes to Ausi. Apparently Ausi customs have different processes for Ausi bikes going from NZ to Ausi from Kiwi bikes going from NZ to Ausi which is why he wont put kiwi bikes in the same container with Ausi bikes.
If anybody is keen or has any questions email him at dave@getrouted.com.au.
He did send me a couple of PDF's with info about some of this. Check out the attachments. They are both different in the locations being shipped to and from.
Cheers R

I would say stuff Dave M and do the leg work yourself-ship with someone like TXL and you will have best part of a nz$1000 xtra to spend on the adventure rather than line Daves' pockets.

Dave has mentioned A$1675 on ADVrider which I assume is for a return trip (?) Couldn't possibly be one way at that price surely.

I agree, one would hope it is return :shit:
I can get air freight for $2.11kg
+ Some handling (about $260)
So all up for a GS it would cost approx $780
And that is on the plane so there a day or two after you arrive
