I am now booked to sit my FULL and I am as nervous as a virgin taking it up the bumhole for the first time :devil2:
I am sure a thread of this nature has been done many a time, do I apologise? NO
SO........I would like to know how have other KB members managed the nerves?
I know, deep down in the recesses of my tiny wee brain, that all is fine and dandy, but please humour me

Dear Stirts, remember back to that day when you were confronted with the spectre of that hill? And the step by step way you approached and conquered it?
The same applies now grasshopper, you must learn to let go of your feelings! Is it not the way of the force that I should happen along now at this juncture of time-space continuum?
Just go through all your drills, breath in and out, relax ....
You have already ridden many roads, travelled many miles, parked at places and reflected on your rides ... you have passed all tests before and you will pass this test now, you will also pass tests in the future.
You are one with your machine, you are one with yourself, you are all you need to succeed for you have already done what you have needed to do to always get what you have always got ...
May the force be with you and remember to always use lube before taking it that little step further ...

You'll be fine T. I seen you ride at Easter. If you can ride the roads that you did then and have no problems then you'll have no problems now. Nerves are good, they'll make sure you don't get cocky (not that you would.) Everything else you already know, so just follow the testers instructions and the road rules and you'll be fine.

Stirts - you'll be fine. The one thing that seems to be a stumbling block for most on their full is the U-turn. Can you do them ok? The rest is a doddle.

Apart from the moment where I was starting my u-turn and knocked it into neutral it all went very smoothly!

Considering how nervous I was a couple of days prior to sitting it. I would just think about the test and feel the need to go have a nervous poo :eek5:
So in all my nervousness I am sitting at my desk on Wednesday thinking I should ring and confirm the date and time of test. I am pretty sure I booked it for the 2nd April at 2pm!
So I ring the 0800 number
"can you please confirm the time and date of my full test" I say.
"Yes, Thursday 1 April at 9am" the lovely man down the line states!
"FUCK" I shout! "As in tomorrow?" I ask
"Yes, at 9am" the man states, who has by now a smirk on his face! (I could farken hear it)

How far'd they make you ride in the pissdown?
Went from Northcross (East Coast Bays Soccer Clubrooms) down Sacros Ave (sp) to Browns Bay, around one block in Browns Bay, then back the way we came, onto East Coast Bays Road out into the 80km zone for a wee while, pull the u-turn and ride back to Soccer Clubrooms!
Almost exactly the same route I did for my restricted!!

Hey, that's where I did my full licence test, too.
I forgot the instructions, got lost, and ended up riding around for about 10 minutes looking for the instructor in his car.
He didn't seem too bothered when I found him.
(I passed, of course.)

Funny you should say that, I missed Sarcos (whatever the fark it is) Ave when coming back, did a u-turn, which the instructor didn't even see, to my horror, as he had turned! I hate wasted opportunities like that!!!

LOL na mate - I've moved onto the water blaster - that hose shakes at an awesome rate - you can put it between your legs, feels great and I earn brownie points all at the same time!
Orbital sanders are soooo last year
