I can't remember the link but there's another site that debunks all of the crap that the roman-sandle-hand-plaitted-hemp-underwear brigade perpetrate about genetic "engineering". Does the heart of a rationalist no end of good!

"Mythbusters" on Discovery channel on Monday evening. If I saw the advertising trailer correctly, one of the things they looked at was the "Chevy-with-the-JATO-rocket-on-the-roof"

The "Chevy-with-the-JATO-rocket-on-the-roof"
But I LOVE that story...
It's almost as good as the one where the baby Jesus gives the glass slippers to Cinderella.

Looks like some put an oxy-acetelene torch on his thumb.
(I have had that experience...!)

I watched Mythbusters on channel 50 last night. Great fun. I particularly liked their attempts to rip the rear axle assembly from a Police car, as portrayed in American Graffiti.

The 'current' episode of the series screens at 10:30pm on Monday nights on Discovery. Reruns on Sat, Sun and Mon usually. Excellent viewing.
