Well im to noob to do a poll but would still be keen to hear which people think is worse? Personally I couldn't stand torque, Who jumps their only bike up onto a train?? Also i like how the bike tyres switch from slicks to knobblies every time they go off the road, kinda like in mission impossible, wonder were I could get a set of those babies, they must be worth a pretty penny!

biker boyz.
Dogs helmet WTF!!!???!!!
no to mention the roswell guy hitting 200kph and not having his eyes dissolve due to not wearing a helmet.
The roman sandal wearing stunters.
That and the whole side stand thing. All the choreography of the sound of music

Actually it was phenomenally beyond crap. Biker Boyz wasn't all that bad. Not the best but definitely better than Torque.

Torque was WAY better than biker boyz which was incredibly shit.

Oh he's such a good racer, can go in a straight line etc.

At least on torque you see them getting a knee down etc.

Yea torque was actully physically painfull to watch, I dont mind a bit of suspension of disbelief here and there in a movie, but for torque you'd need a full on brain removal to enjoy it! I also wonder how many people movies like this have indirectly killed by encouraging stupid little dickheads who know NOTHING about riding bikes to go out and try some of that shit on their brand new race bike that mummy and daddy just bought for them after deciding they must have on on seeing the movie?

edit: torque was TRYING to head in the right direction but then they took it WAAYYY to far

I didn't think Torque was that bad, at least there were nice bikes in the movie, and a storyline.

Biker Boyz, on the other hand... :Pokey:

The last 5 minutes of Torque was actually a cartoon. They ran out of money for Special Effects, and made it into a cartoon.

At least that's what I remember anyway.

I think that was because they were going soo fast that reality was blurred and they had entered a parallel "cartoon" dimension  . At least thats what I got from it it seemed to fit with the 'realisim' of the rest of the movie LOL

Parallel Cartoon Dimension eh. Sounds very similar to "la la land" where fairies and leprechauns have parties lol

.....If only there was a way of quantifying how shit a movie really is.....

According to IMDb, Torque (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0329691/) (3.4/10) is shitter that Biker Boyz (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0326769/) (4/10).

Yea I thought i saw a fairy getting sucked into that jet bike at the end but i thought NOO thats just to far fetched... even for torque. LOL

I like that even IMDB says: "When the speed bikes get off road, you can clearly see that they're in fact two strokes dirt bikes and that they're covered by a fake fairing so they look like sport bikes." They could have tried a LITTLE harder. :spanking:

IMDB does not provide meaningful data.

Rotten Tomatoes (which collates reviews from critics who publish online) is better:

Torque (http://au.rottentomatoes.com/m/torque/) got a 23% rating.

Biker Boyz (http://au.rottentomatoes.com/m/biker_boyz/) got a 22% rating.

Let's face it, they're both thoroughly horrid movies that do not deserve to have time taken out of one's life to watch them.

I think that you are actually right it was almost theraputic(sp?) to watch it and go, holy F**k how did they get away with making this??

Both were shit. I cant remember what one was which, but the one where htey had the drag race down the gravel track at the end after they met up in the paddock was unbelieveably fucking shit

Ryan432

I notice that on this bike forum the general consensus is that they are both pretty shitass, but i notice from people who aren't really into bikes there seems less of a negative vibe, and i get friends that say wow motorbikes are fukin intense after watching it, and then I have to say they are but not in that way u dumbass!

That was Biker Boyz.

Torque was better than Biker Boyz because when I watched Torque I though "cool!" but when I watched Biker Boyz I just kept waiting for it to get better (or end).

While both were phenominally shit, Torque had Jaime Presley and Monet Mazur in it so Biker Boyz had to be worse.

I would like to support the faction that is of the view that these movies were so bad they were good. I would like to support that faction, but I cannot...

'Torque' especially achieved quite effortlessly the sublime state of badness that almost makes it worthwhile to watch with awed fascination for the WTF moments... (I could make a more convincing argument though if they'd left the last 5 minutes on the cutting room floor).

OT: Jaime Pressly's costume gentlemen - I submit that it was only surpassed by that worn by Ornella Muti in 'Flash Gordon'.

'Biker Boyz' however was so bad that it went out the other side of so bad it's good to being so bad that it's beyond being so bad that it's good because it really is that bad... if you see what I mean.

Torque has that hot blonde lady, who was real sexy, and psycho goth lady who is sexy in an "i'll kill you" way...so torque whilst being so shit that i would rather just film myself projectile vomiting and then watch it on repeat, it had that high point. Biker boyz...well i just gave up at the title. Most car movies are crap although a few gems do come along like talladega nights (comedy) or days of thunder with robert duvall and tom cruise and nicole kidman...fucking A days of thunder is a awesome movie....watch it!

Biker Boyz was utter crap. Torque was at least amuzing. It had a storyline (ok, so it was as bad as the fast and the furious...) which was entertaining and some of the stunts were legit. I just wish the wheelie between the cars at the beginning was legit! I mean, come on. Wheelie through two cars at 170mph. It may be an aprilia, but somehoe I doubt it would lift that easily at that speed. Feel free to correct me though.
