Recently my employer offered to put staff through various farm skills training courses at no cost. Things like using a chainsaw, tractor driving, that sorta thing, all relevent to the work I'm doing really. Well I was a bit cheeky, and also ticked the boxes marked "off-road motorcycle riding" and "ATV training", worth a try, right?

Just heard today that its all good, 2 days off work fully paid to go and ride bikes! Plus each course equals another qualification so thats always good to have on a CV! Sooo glad I don't work in an office!!

Awesome,

If you haven't ridden off road before or much. You should actually learn heaps! (No kidding!)

farming is where its at people. I get paid to ride bikes :D
and i spent a week fully paid on a 'future farmers' course (best thing I've done in my life) when I've only been working for my new employer 3-4 months.
Sorry hijack over.

edit: make sure they get you doing the difficult obstacles when doing 2 wheeler/quad parts. You'll be amazed what you can actually ride over/on

Ridden off road a few times, and had a couple of cracks at trials riding before but its been a while. So bound to learn something!

Always, you know how to train a Lion?

No, but I have tried negotiating with a pre-menstrual woman once, surely the lion would be easier??
