Yeah those things are awesome, i test rode one back in Nov but it was that or a new dirtbike so i now have a KDX sitting in the shed, and to be quite honest apart from looks(sex on wheels they are) it wasnt $10,000 better than mine, and i think rear wheel they put out 155hp, but then you have ram air and what not to factor in. i think 147hp is heaps....for me at this time anyway, but there is still more to do...cams....ram air box....etc

We'll all be at the next Have a Go day, in fact it won't be long after the training day with Jared Love (hope you got your form in OAB, entry closed 9th or 10th this month).

Anyway - i'm always keen to see how my riding is progressing. I've only been back on a bike 3 months and i've never done a lap at ruapuna, but i'd like to "measure up". No use comparing an SV to an R1, the ultimate would be to have to bikes arond the same capability ... like two cbr250's - so it's all down to rider... see what we can come up with in April?

woohoooo - my bikes faster than your bike cos mine kicks out 164 bhp.

Oh, hang on, I forgot that my bike weighs about the same as a pregnant heffer while yours weighs about the same as my grans knickers.

Although I have found a web site that claims to have run a back to back 0-90MPH test between a Bird and an R1 - and the Bird won!

No Aaron - for the last time, I will not race you :moon:

Considering your best time around Ruapuna is 1min 47sec on a R1 with 147hp I think its best someone shows you some lines around the track, mate. Probably some of the 400's if you could keep up!!

Sounds like you've currently got 3 bikes, ever thought about either taking the zxr into F3 or selling it and buying a bucket? I hear there's a real quick (for buckets anyways) one for sale around. Then you could race.... if i had a spare dollar left over from upcoming bathroom demolition / rebuild i'd be working on a bucket right now... heaps of fun!
