If you have the time, check out a few local trucking companies, get lift up to dorkland during day/night maybe and ride back. That is if you have time spare. From this area try Thomson carriers they do daily run Manaia to Auckland, and at various times leaving i.e midnight, midday.

Last two bikes ive bought were from Aucka loffa & I hitched up the first time & rode it back & the other via bus (winter time) & rode that back as well but I just can't peel myself away at present as i've only got one staff member, time is my enemy at present :weep:

ps: lol at suggesting Skidmark ride it here, that clown wouldn't last 5mins on a TL thou.............oh wait..........I just thought of something

Thought that might have been the case, would fly to dorkland(your visa) and ride down for ya but not sure if I'd relinquish the beast to you.Nice choice, the TLR is almost cult type even after only 10yrs,the next 10yrs who knows.

Nice avatar, green shows out nice in twilight. With the mileage yours has done a great advert for the ZX.

Mind you Boob did drop the RF twice just after he bought it,so he should have gone green, hides the grass stains.

Maybe it is safer for the new owner to truck it down, lots of speed camera tickets going to new owner otherwise.

If I had the time I would love to. As mentioned the last two I did exactly that. Was bloody great getting to know the bike on such a long ride off the bat. It can be done in a day & I mean a FULL day, dusk till dawn. A mate & I did that recently but Wellywood, on the road @ 6am & didn't get back till 9pm, farkin lot of riding in one day lol.

Steve your a blardy legend mate, but I don't have the time even if I did it's too soon as the dude is off on holiday tomorrow as are the banks so I couldn't get enough $$$ from the hole n the wall. Appreciate the offer, would be bloody mint if it was possible :angry2:

Depends where you define early, saw a camera van by junction SH3 & 3a,and about 5 km past a cop waiting with radar couple sundays back, bloody radar detector doesn't pick up cameras till on top of em.Thought of you straight away when the cop was spied, similar area.

40 demerits and still 12 mths to go,another ticket and then real nervous.

Not entirely true actually, I got my first one in nearly 10 years last month, doing 107 with a trailer on in my Accord, my only defense was I thought the speed limit was 80km with a trailer on?

The officer thought it was funny

Na wasn't the purving twas the height of the bike, I had to tippy toe when the bike was on level ground so when it was parked or moving at slow speed on a hill it was really dodgie as it only took a few degrees to be over the line & she would drop.....fast. So from then on I was super alert, like at ninja levels  when ever moving around on a hill. Was gunna get the special made gel seat which dropped a few inches of height but the damage was already done so no point plus it was minor. Sold it like that too

Mmmm doubt I will make that, very busy weekend for us that is

Try Efficient carrying co in Onehunga, they are reasonably cheap,i.e fridge 2 cu mtr door to door Henderson to Hawera $80+gst(16 mths ago). They usually are furniture but do general freight, and have seen them carry the odd bike, strapped to side and covered, well strapped as well.

Ok transport from Taupo to NP is sorted if it can get from Aucka loffa to Taupo.

Frosty has a van someone can use for the up & coming track day (Moto TT 16th May Taupo) which can hold two bikes (a proper bike transporter) so if anyone wishes to except such a generous offer from Frosty they would in turn be helping me out

PM or call me for further details

If a person out of the kindness of their heart was supplying transportation for a bike say to er--sarf of the bombays
And the bike fell off the bike ramp smashing all the fairings and totally rooting the tank headlight and radiator--who should pay for repairs???
