View Full Version : Mongrel Mob - Ross Kemp
The Mongrel Mob signed a deal with Ross Kemp to ensure that the New Zealand episode will not air in Aotearoa.
Rights have now been exercised to have the video removed from "you tube". It is no longer available there.

Why? The UK government did not veto the doco on the military in afghanistan even though it looked very bad for the M.O.D.

It was a shocking doco for sure but I near fell off my chair laughing at them when they were in the clubhouse barking. What complete and utter twats!

It's a privately signed agreement between the Mob and Kemp. No Government involvement.

The part where that Mungie turns off the lights on the cops in the Mungie house cracks me up. The dude that eats the tampon is definately on another level - somewhat sub elevated level!

I still can't understand why Kemp wasted good film on those retards.
Classic example that humans can function without a brain or soul.
Their Patch, is an insult to a fine breed of dog.

it was a very insightful doco.
It had a underlying feel about a long time mongel mob member bitching that drugs have taken over the mob and it was better when they were into fun stuff like murder and rape and stuff. Also it tried to make the audience feel for him that most of his mates are in the grave. Tried, not really succeeded.
Their Patch, is an insult to a fine breed of dog.
Thats their intention. To Insult.
As he mentions in the video - Their Logo of sticking a German helmet on a British bulldog is intended to piss society off.

Then maybe the dopey fuckers should have to take on an angry bulldog pack.
I'd pay to watch that.:devil2:

i saw the doco, some of it reminded me of hamiltons infamous mormon few...
i found it interesting though.
I remember years ago, after a days work at Makatu we stoped at the Coachman Tavern (dont know if its still called that) for a beer or two. We were in the public bar, a Mongrel Mob hang out in those days, and my boss (after a few beers) noticed the bulldog patch on the back of this wankers jacket. He asked me '' what the hell is that''? I told him ''Its a picture of his mother'' my boss laughed as if he didnt believe me. I said to him '' if you dont believe me, go and ask him''....the laughter continued.
I wouldn't shed a tear......

Reading between the lines it appears the drug 'P' maybe doing what the authorities cannot.
You can find the episode in high qulaity on any decent p2p network.
Do people still actually watch tv on the tv? *boggle*
Gang members also tended to have a limited understanding of the culture and their Maori heritage, he said.
Any suggestions anti-social or criminal behaviour was somehow inherent in Maori were "rubbish", he said.Hmmm. Right.

It just goes to show how devoid of substance television journalism really is.
As for New Zealand, the scum floats to the top and the shit sinks to the bottom, it's difficult to distinguish the difference between the two here!
Meanwhile the real New Zealanders, Maori, Pakeha and new arrivals just get on with the struggles of everyday life. John.

TVNZ wanted to screen this documentary in NZ - but they were not able to secure the rights to the first series from Ross Kemp's distributor.

That would be the Kemp - Mob agreement mentioned in the first few posts.
I reckon it was clear from the doco that the Mob is a dying organisation. All the guys on it were getting on a bit. Old father time and 'P' will do what this weak willed Govt can't.

Ah, actually they're doing a bit of 'recruiting' right now - plenty of unmotivated layabout drongos out there whose ego can be lifted out of the gutter by being a 'gangsta' - or even a MM member.

As long as parents are not doing their job there will always be new recruits popping up searching for somewhere to belong.
But is it not better to have them all in one place clearly marked so we can identify them?
Re the doco, yes had a look at it. Compared to the other gangs from around the world that has been on there, the MM looked tame.

Tame?,They looked pathetic.
Other "gangs" in the series tended to be people born into a hard way of life, That were forced to continue it in order to carve out some order, even if they had the intelligence to see their lifestyle for what it was and hated it.
The mob came across as useless shitbags taking advantage of a welfare state and making life miserable for honest folk.

The stuff.co.nz link in the first post doesn't work.
Pretty weak doco, didnt really scratch the surface I would of thought. Im sure a kiwi could better.
I hate it when I have a number plate on and I come up on the fuckers riding down the motorway at 140 taking up all the lanes. slow fuckers
I thought it was interesting when the scribble face said that the 'code' was about respect etc. What would he know? To be fair, I bet he didn't grow up in an environment where he got any respect, so he only knows what his 'whanau'[foster home?] taught him.

well I,l for one dont like P2P. Download 1G and you have used 3.
stream video and at least you are only using what you are using. There are plenty of apps out there that will save youtube videos locally if you want to save something off the net for some reason.

I dunno about "weak willed", many governments struggle with gang related issues and it's more complex than it appears on the surface.
How do you combat a free association of (undesireable) individuals without conmpromising the freedoms of a society in general?
How do you punish gang members when the normal punishment (jail time) is taken as a badge of honour?
Getting someone to testify against their comrades in their closae knit community (out of loyalty or fear) is extremely difficult and their hierarchical structure ensures only "disposable" members face prosecution.
Infiltration operations have proven to be somewhat effective overseas, but place the operative(s) at huge risk, soak up large amounts of time, money and manpower with no guarantee of success.
It's easy to say "let's tackle the gang problem!" but the actual nuts and bolts of it are far more complex.

Youtube has many problems.. Its resolution is arse, its not easily downloadable, and you dont get a nice format at the end of it. They are also copyright content nazis.
When someone makes a youtube like website that allows DVD quality content, downloadable as avi/mpg, and with no content or copyright restrictions then maybe it will be superior. Until then viva le p2p.

That will only remain an issue until NZ removes the Telescum monopoly and let free market forces take over. Then you will be able to get manageable flatrates and decent download rates.
So in 50 years time it may be better ;)

Indeed. Youtube is awesome for wasting time and finding stuff like old forgotten music videos (albeit out of sync), people getting hurt and stuff that blows up.
