Went to see this today at the movies. Have to say that I wasn't really that keen as IU thought it might be a bit "wanky".... however I have to say that I was impressed, the 3D effects were awesome... felt like you were standing in front row and sometimes on stage (snuggled up next to The Edge, now that I can handle!!)
If you're a U2 fan, I can recommend this as an entertaining hour and a half.

Sorry lov but it will never compare to the live concert

how long is it playing for and what is the price

one question, Do you get to keep the glasses or do they recycle them?

I went to the concert when they were last here, and yes, as far as atmosphere goes, but I couldn't afford to get up close to the stage, so this gives you that.
It's only playing at certain theaters from what I can tell, same price as a normal movie.
No the glasses are pretty flashy, you have to give them back or pay $75.

Awesome! I might just check it out then...

I like their early stuff, and I love Bono's voice...

Thanks Mrs K!

Does Bono give one of his wanky speeches like normal at their concerts?
"Save the starving in Africa by buying my $3000 pair of sunglasses" affair?

No, they use trippy 3D words on the screen instead.

Go for it, I think you'll get your $15 (?) worth! :)

No worries, they play a majority of the old stuff, which is good, I prefer the old stuff too!

hahaha, I know, I wondered if it was going to be the usual preaching too, but wasn't too bad.
