Wow, I'm so happy - comming back from a trip to do the change of ownership papers for my ZZR, and whopdee, Cut off by a ute at a round about - I was to dazed to ask for addresses or anything but to thier credit they stoped and asked if I was ok :disapint:

I said thank and that the only damage seems to be the clutch leaver, They left I left, then I stoped at Mitre 10 on the way home after experiencing rattling, only to find my full front of my bike totaled lights gone and fairing fooked.

Its going to cost 1k+ on a quick estimate, And I must say - I hate utes.

Guess I will have a quiet holiday, I've being salking all afternoon, I mean I just payed 4k for it now another 1k :thud:

Oh well lifes a bitch and allothervehicalsotherthanbikesaregay (no insults)

That really, really sucks, dude.

So, did you not get rego or any other details from the ute driver? It seems clearly their fault. If you *didn't*, you'll be kicking yourself for a long, long time.

If you did happen to get the rego, just PM it to me and I might be able to, er, help you out.

I take it this was your first bin? It's never a bad idea to have some note paper and a pen under the seat for such occasions.

My sympathies, FWIW. Glad *you're* in one piece.

Well I at least have a new respect for bikers, you guys take a crapload of shit good on you all for sticking with it...

Shame your not allowed a spike on the front of your bike. Says clearly in the road code. I was so dissapointed when I saw the pic of a bike with a spike with the huge red cross over it

Sorry to hear that man, but at least you are okay. Bugger about not getting the details, the other guy sure is an asshole, taking advantage of someone who would obviously be in a state of shock.

To track them down I'm attaching a RPG to the front and exicute the practise of elimination :D

thanks for all the words of wisdom, I was thinking about turning it into a streetfighter - and even took off the fairing and figured what I needed, it wouldnt cost much if I was to do it that way..

Plastic weilder here I come... damn plastic - I'm going naked for my next bike. On both accounts... :D
