:)

I know this may have been done before but the sweet irony of it all....

6 Months with square of yellow on the back of the bike, only 1 instance of someone tailgating me. Not serious like, was maybe for 30 secs before getting around me....

First week without the "L" plate - 5 times

And then coming home tonight. Zipping along the motorway, doing 100. Had this guy veer sharply from the fast lane right into behind me and he stuck there, close enough so that I could only see one corner of the car in the mirror, for about 8 minutes.

Could not work out his problem. No indicators flashing.... Not holding traffic up. Traffic was flowing very nicely....

Slowed down gradually a couple of times, thinking he would jump into the fast lane and fook off, but noooooooo, stuck behind me like a limpet mine to a german u-boat....

Tried to get around a couple of cars, thinking I could loose him that way....Nup fooker was right behind me......

Starting to get reasonably :angry2:, at this stage. So gets off the motorway (he follows), and I indicate to pull over to the side of the road. He comes with me. stops about 30 metres behind me.......I stop, and throw the stand down and haul off the bike.......All I hear next is the engine revving it's tits off and he dumps the clutch, :eek5:........tyres light up, shoots forward. I exit stage right, hoping like all fuck he misses the bike...........................fucker does, and almost plows a car coming our way........

No plates on the drk grey lowered skyline, with tinted windows, and a munter skinny white boy, with big afro bushy hair......

There's me with tyre smoke drifting my way, standing there with a look of absolute WTF!!! on my face scratching the top of my helmet......

:buggerd:. Can't for the life of me figure it out.

No further incidents for the rest of the way home....

Sounds like you did the right thing... I'd be a little scared to pull over and stop personally, incase they just had a thing against motorcyclists and wanted to kill me, so would head to the nearest cop shop with them in tow if they wanted to follow me there.

Dingoz, you need one of these cool bluetooth helmets so you can dob the bugger in. It doesn't sound as if my usual solution of moving into his sight-lines would have worked with this guy.

It sounds like he was playing you and then when you stopped and he saw how big you were he crapped himself ... excellent.

Knowing how pissed you get with shit like that, I expected you to follow him until you got the plate number or at least ID'd him for a visit by friends in blue.

Me too, it reminds me of old GPs and when I were a lad, it's supposed to be an aphrodisiac, like a stinky Viagra. :first:

A Skyline: what a surprise - NOT!!

One of my simple rules is "avoid twats in skylines". A "take-on all comers for no apparent reason" attitude seems to come as standard when you buy one - particularly on motorways. Just what I've learned from often repeated experience.

There's some fucktards on the Hutt motorway. He probably wanted a race.
I've had a few people try it on, but nothing quite like that. Mind you, I usually fuck off into the distance :)

Nasty experience! Too bad he didn't have a plate, that kind of behaviour needs to be "discouraged".

Next time, if you are going to be that unlucky, try and slow down to something like 30 km/h - if he hangs around at that speed he's really persistent. I've had that work for me on that one occassion where I had someone tailgate me a bit too close for comfort.
