You tell porkies mate! That can not be the beloved snail ex random styles. If it is you are a miracle worker! What a lovely looking machine.

Top job!

well MOST of it is indeed the ex random bike. Less about 5mm of rattle can paint that needed to be scraped off and an inch of oil n grease n stuff.
The gremlin pretty quickly sorted out the back shock for me-Shaun the majician.
So as it stands the bike is almost there ready for the big reveal

hey Frosty,

I just did a search for bits of my old SRAD 750, I thought I had a manual and some other pieces as well. I think I still have an ignition box/ecu, will check the storage unit. I had the stock pipe, and a spare tail/seat cover - can't find them anywhere, but everything is boxed up for the LoveShack renno's going on at the moment.

Yours looks fucking excellent, the grey shows off the curves really well. I still reckon the GSXR750W or X is one of the best looking bikes of the nineties.

You wouldn't know it from before! An extreme makeover, to be sure.

Anything done internally?

A well deserved term beside the sticker's perspective...the man is as slow as its monicker! :innocent:

Sorry folks a bit of a double entendre. Escargo was a car shaped like--well a snail. It was desighned to carry loads round the city.--The name sorta fits.

This the 'srad' you are after? Obviously the black will have to be either white or silver...

Yes, it was. A play on "Escargot", and a deliberate semi-snail like look to it.
By all accounts, it was actually a pretty good runabout for a shop or whatever to own.

Very nice, wonder if J knew the wheels where always white

Got a new "suzuki" decal sitting here doing nothing if its any use to you? Same as one in my profile pic.

Very nice, wonder if J knew the wheels where always white

Yeah, they were white when I bought it off Alick, but, well, y'know. It's me. I figure grease and grime just hold the rattly bits on more securely.

:niceone:

See, now the Snail looks good enough to nick, someone's probably going to run off with it!

Anyway. Gosh, Frosty gives it a wash and chucks some paint on and gets all the accolades, and I spend over a grand on engine parts making the fucker bulletproof and nobody cares.

You're all so damn shallow.

:weep:

Bumpity Bump...

Despite the bike now
...being in my Garage
...having a working name of Gary
...making me the happiest c^&t in the world

The plastics etc etc are still in Rotovegas :crybaby: Wondering whether any Kindly person might be travelling between Rotovegas and Dorkland with suitable vehicleage and motivation to pick the bits and pieces up for me.

Not in great rush, anytime in the next 3-4 weeks would be grand otherwise I might just have to take the family on a "thermal wonderland vacation" and get them myselves.
