Mmmm nice idea, though has some serious embarrassment potential, how big's the tabletop jump going to be Mike ?.

Dad was telling me about this event and showning me the email.
The only problem is that im one of the worst starter out their.
Would have to change my sprockets as i would max top speed out in 4hundred meters.

Apparently my bike will do 134 or so with my current gearing, I chickened out at 124 on the gravel, the corner after 400m is going to be tough, sounds way easy to go in to fast.

i wounder if its going to be a grass start and the dirt all the way or a gravel start to the first corner?
they might need breaking points up like on a race track

The course is all off road.....flat grass with a man-made table top of a 30 to 40 metre jump. Already there has been "trash talk" about how the quad guys are gonna win this thing. I would imagine a high HP motard would be more likely to win.

Looks like we will have to come and watch to see who is right! I know a couple of Northland riders who think an enduro bike will win.

A couple of northland riders on Husky motards supplied by Brownie might be in the money....

Reckon we had better give Brownie a call, Mike?

hopefully it dosent get hairy hitting the table top with other riders of different jumping skills all around.

Its worth the risk Vic, the risk being that these riders might desert enduros for Motard racing...;)

An enduro rider on a KTM525 would be pretty serious competition I would think.
