Someone kindly pointed out to me tonight my tail light wasn't working. My brake lights are so I know I need a new bulb. Was wondering what bulbs they use? I'm guessing the same as a GN? Just a regular 12V bulb?
Is it best to just take the bulb into repco or somewhere similar and try to find one that will suit?
Cheers.

Ohhhhhh... Who's a funny boy, then Mr Hitcher ;)
Metalor,
If you unscrew the tail light cover (two phillips head screws generally), the bulb will be right there in front of you...
Push in & turn to release the bulb from its holder...
On the bulb will be something along the lines of "12 volt 21/6 watt" which is the voltage & watt rating of the bulb... (You need to replace it with something similar)
Cruise in to your nearset Repco, purchase a suitable replacement, fit as required & Robert is your parents sibling...
Cheers

Yeah I replaced mine the other day. It's one of those little bulbs with the two filaments - you can usually get them at a petrol station or Repco or anywhere and they cost less than a couple of dollars.
Very easy to replace - only takes a few seconds as Wheeliemonsta described above.
By the way, how's the Volty going Metalor? Did it recover well from its little mishap last year?

Awesome, did all that today! Was just worried it may be a suzuki special thing and I'd have to go to colemans for it. I was pleased too, only $3... unlike paying a shitload for anything you want these days.
Volty is going pretty good thanks Klingon, looks a bit beat up but she goes well. Well enogh to get me an $800 fine.... bastards!

Crikey! I'm trying to imagine what you could possibly do on a Volty to get an $800 fine! So far mine has only had a $40 fine for parking on the footpath :(

Well, riding at 100k's on the motorway on my learners, no warrant and no rego... $800 in one hit!
Bastard did me for all he could AND I was being honest and nice... told him I'd just gotten it back on the road that's why the rego was out and couldn't afford to get my restricted/warrant etc and that I had no other way to get to uni.
Kinda sucks when you have no criminal record to speak of, never had any trouble with the law and you just happen to be in a bit of a tight spot with cash but they'll still sting ya for what they can. Bastards!
