I love my new bike, why do other people hate me for it.:girlfight: I think I deserve it. I rode that wee 250 ninja in all types of weather and crap, sore forearms and hands trying to keep up with big boys. But now with my new bike, they all feel like I have stepped on there manhood and ground it up with my heel. My idol is Valentino, and my dream bike was always an R1, you would think they would be happy for me. Nevermind I am happy for me, and just think they will be able to check out my cute ass when I am passing them. hehehe.

Don't sweat it. I found I was hated for just being on a two-wheeler...

Especially by boy-racers. And that filled me with pride.

I have admiration for most of those on bigger and higher performing bikes, granted they have the ability to handle such a peice of engineering...

Which part of the country do you reside in?

Edit: Ah, I see your profile says Dunedin. I guess you won't be going to trackdays at Taupo, then. You could check out the frequent open days at Ruapuna, though.

Funny, I thought the same when I first read it... And I've got a clean mind...

Spend some time getting used to it, it's thrilling to move up, each time your horizons get a little broader, and the fun factor multiplies dramatically. Ride it within your limits, but you'll find it'll do anything you ask it to and more. The limits on the R6 and R1 are high, fun bikes.

You've already got a Gixer1000 in the house, so it's rally the perfect family.
Welcome to KB, ignore the trolls, love the ones who fit.

If you worry about what others think you might not want to be here, really who gives a shit at the end of the day? Might want to hold off on the wise remarks though, anyone would think you could ride... Edit, sorry just looked at your pick. When I rode my 600RR I'd probably slow down to let you pass, maybe more than once. Until we got into the twisties anyhow... ;)

I didn't spend much time in the 80's... Not really conciously.

I was too interested in sucking on tits & learning to ride my Raleigh. People tell me I didn't miss much... Apart from the haircuts.
