Here's a cracker I was lucky enough to witness recently. This pic is the same comet but taken from Australia. A small group of us took mountain bikes up to Back Beach here in NP, blanket, beers, was perfect. What an amazing site to see & apparently not again in this life time :bye:

Bloody beautiful! Good find.

The centre one, of those three image that are shown to give us an appreciation of the geometry behind the observation, put me in mind of that thread about using the left or the right side of our brains!

I have a 1988 vintage, film photo of myself and a lovely Aussie girl, standing about where the back left wheel of the launcher in Pic.1 is.
