The last few weeks since I got my restricted have been interesting. I have days where I wake up and go "motorbikes are too dangerous, what the hell am I doing", and other days where I love it and don't want to go home. :2thumbsup

I've done RRRS, been to as many AWNMR's as possible, and spent loads of time doing drills in carparks etc. So from that point of view, I'm reasonably happy. But there are a couple of situations I encounter which I just can't seem to get my head around.

I think I'm at a point where I really need an experienced rider to critique my riding and help me boost my confidence. I always intended to call Riderskills once I felt ready, and I will, but in the meantime if anyone out there feels like volunteering to give me some constructive feedback on my riding, I would be more than grateful! (Please PM me) :apint:

Hey mate you should take a look at the Uni SMC forum sometime, we often go for rides with anywhere between 5 and 15 people, many are "learner rides" so at learner pace with the experienced guys giving hints and tips if they see things to improve on with your riding.

Relax, keep your elbows in, practise low speed turning and ride, ride, ride, as experience is something that takes time to get. Always ASSUME that anyone in a car cannot see you, that they are even aiming for you, never, NEVER get in a cars blind spot and always wear the best protective gear you can and wear it all the time. Most accidents statistically happen within a few blocks of home.
And, did I mention, ride, ride, ride? Remember to relax....
