What kind soul can help out a Trashman in need?
A very close friend of mine is going to miss out on go to Wanga-Vegas this year as he can not (with X-mas) afford a new rear wrap for his FZR750. Size 160/60X18.
I am not in a financial position to help this fine gentleman out and I can't find a 2nd hand tyre anywhere.
Someone *must* have an almost worn out 160/60X18 tyre lying around?
I'm happy to pay for overnight courier and a box of beer as compensation.

And if it was a 140/70/17, and I wasn't only halfway through an Arrowmax, *I'd* be able to help...

Bloody 18 inches are fukin hard to find these days. If you want WT, I can call around the shops here in AKL to find a cheap second handy. I can't help with a free one though.

Have you gone bin diving round all the bike shops after hours? The Man & friends did that in The Mount and came up with 4 rear tyres for another friend in the same situation, one of which had obviously only been replaced because it had a bung in it (but done properly from the inside) & he's good for another 10,000kms total now.

I've got a 140/70x18, but it may be a bit skinny.

I heard 18" makes the ride real wild and exciting. Are you sure you can handle it?

Richards Motorcycles in Johnsonville always seems to have used tryes out the back of his shop. Although I've never had a look at them there always seems to be a pile about 10 - 15 high. Might be worth a look.

You see the local Suzuki shop here in Palmerston North normally has 18 inch tyres in stock, on the shelf.
