Hey guys, I'm trying to sell off a bunch of stuff to pay for other toys/bikes and simplify my projects

A while back I imported some parts from Japan:
Honda RS125 expansion chamber + muffler $275 - These were sold to me as NX4 chambers.
Honda RS125 NF4 main frame - SOLD

I have them both for sale at the moment although the frame has got dibs on it currently. If he can't produce enough brownie points or convince the accountant he needs it then it will also be for sale.

Pick up is definitely preferred because I don't really have time to post it.
PM if you want em

I also have a bunch of Suzuki FXR150 parts that I want to get rid of:

And I have a complete FXR150 which I will be looking at selling soon too, potentially in parts for those after an engine :apumpin:

SOLD

Complete FXR150 for sale - North Shore Auckland. Can deliver within Auckland for gas money.
I've seen engines by themselves sell close to that price so it's definitely cheap.

This is not a pristine FXR which makes it PERFECT to turn into a bucket racer!
I got this to set up for a mate to use as a but he's being pretty useless and I'd now rather use the money to fund my own projects.

The inside of the tank needs some work if you wanted to use it as it's rusty. I hear POR15 do a good tank clean and re-seal kit. Otherwise cut the bottom of it out and run a plastic tank like loads of others have. The road parts (fairings, lights etc) have been removed already, so the original wiring up front needs to be cut off or tucked away. The rear brake caliper needs to be taken off and cleaned out as it currently drags on the disk. Nothing that a bit of elbow grease and maybe some new seals wouldn't fix.

I used an external fuel tank to run the bike today and it kicked over pretty easy once the fuel bowl in the carb filled up. So it does run and it has fresh oil in it too.

Contact me via PM if you're keen

I also have a bunch of Suzuki FXR150 parts that I want to get rid of:

Right i'm sure plently of people have some FXR crap around.
I am looking for the following to complete a FXR roller frame. I think i need.

Master Cylinder / Front Caliper
Fuel Cap
Fuel valve.
I have rear sets but no rear master or gear shifter/rod.

Thats pretty much it for now. It is going to a good cause. I am planning on making a B-Grade / Club loaner bike for guys/girls who want to have a go.
I have a DRZ125 engine on its way, which will make a good realible / torquey engine. And fingers crossed might just bolt in being a suzuki or shouldn't need too much modification.
I have a whole bunch of random front slicks. So i'll run stock rims with front slicks both ends, to provide a safe amount of grip. And then nylon and catch tank it, and who knows might be at the two dayer event.
Planning on painting it yellow, so its obvious for people riding pass.

I think I have a RG150 rear calipher that could work as a front, at least I used to use it as a front & it had pads. free to a good cause. Can supply a gear linkage RH male thread rosejoint & any length of rod mated with left & right M6 thread which I can spin up on the lathe. I was trying to buy some LH rose joints but came up short & forgot to pursue.

If it ain't smokin' - it's broken.

A couple of problems with that, he requires a bigger frame, as he's a tall unit (the one who was on my bike in b-grade all weekend).
And also its not nyloned, and needs a lower exhaust also.
So pretty much a no go.

ideally, below with a fxr in it.
http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/motorbikes/motorbikes/sports/auction-731342121.htm

ps Drew i think he's willing to pay up to a couple of grand maybe more not 100% sure, so i doubt there would profit margin for someone.
Pretty much set on a reasonably performing engine, i.e no Loncin donks, FXR/CBR etc
Something will come up eventudally.

Cheers

Selling a race ready FXR bucket racer rolling chassis. The motor is coming out and going into my new build. The old chasis can have a motor chucked in and it's pretty much ready to race.

It has:
Wide rims - Impulse. Slicks not included but these can be picked up cheap. They have been machined and spaced to fit the FXR chasis.
Fully Nyloned with protection on handlebars, frame, pegs, swing arm and ready to race at Kaitoke.
Custom made aluminium rear sets. Made from thick gauge material, raised to prevent scrapes. 30mm up and 20mm back I think.
Braided front brake line
Suspension seems pretty good in comparison to a lot of other FXRs I have ridden.
Not included is engine and race seat.

$500.

Will consider parting out but would prefer to get rid of the whole thing.

I have a pair of Honda RS125 wheels for sale here in Auckland.
They are the NF4 version, the same type as on the ESE Avalon bike and I think also Rick and the Diprose bikes.
The front is white and the rear is blue (similar to Henk's bike blue, Henk you want some RS wheels?)

Can post around the country although it will have to be the nearest weekend as I'm screwed for time during the week.

$520 for the pair. First in first served, PM me.
If you want I can post a photo if they haven't already sold.

Brand new Ohlins $500 each

http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/motorbikes/parts-for-sale/suspension/auction-771889331.htmGood luck with those. They're not a particularly high spec shock, they're about two inches too long for most road bike applications, and they're valved for dirt.

The seller doesn't even know what model they are.

False economy to get these. KSS would build you a specific shock for what they will end up costing.

Believe me Dave, I'm itching to get back in there. I now have two halves of bikes, an RGV 250 and bits of the old FXR. I have pretty much got the RGV to a rolling chassis, which was more work than I first anticipated. I'm going to come on here grovelling soon once I've got the fork seals changed to see if any kind hearted person will help me transplant the FXR motor. Beer being the currency of course!

It's been difficult to get it to this stage as I've got so much other stuff going on in my life that took over my finances and time but I do want to get back out there as soon as possible as I don't want to lose the passion for it due to time away, if you know what I mean.

Re read his post Jase before you go flying off the handle and embarrass yourself.

He never said it wasn't worth $1200. All he said was that he didn't know if the weight and HP figures quoted were true and that the FXR engine was not $1200 (given that the post immediately above was his stating that the FXR engine was available).

Read his reply to RMS eng. That is exactly what he said. He pointed out an FXR motor for much less than $1200 then said the CBR isn't worth $1200. That is how I read it.

Wow calm down mate, I come in peace! Perhaps you should re-read - he's the one who brought the comparison up. I said that the motor was significantly more expensive and I wouldn't know if the engines stats were kosher. No facts to check there.

Whether it's worth the price or not it's a lot of money to pay for a bucket motor, it's more than many people pay for their whole bike. Good luck to whoever owns it, I've heard that they're supposed to be pretty good.

Hi guys - I'm having a bit of a bike clearout to make room for new projects so here's your chance to pick up a bucket ready to go. I've used this once at mt wellington and have had it waiting for maybe two years since.

i've seen more than any man should of bloody Honda heads where the cam chain has broken. Doesn't usually damage the chamber or seat area as Honda in their wisdom made the valves quite soft...The setup on the CBX is the same as the 16V CB750,900 and CB1100R...ie, crap.
But yes, should be adding to our export receipts on ebay.

Yes but for its era in when it was designed it was cutting edge, From memory the same guy designed the RC166 or what ever the 250 six was called. Likely all the others too anyway.

Thought so But yes its a waste at $200

As a young engineer, Irimajiri started working for Honda in the early-1960s and worked on Honda’s GP racing bikes of that era, some of which were pretty amazing. Irimajiri was, in fact, responsible for designing the engines of the 1965 RC147 and RC165. The RC147 had a five-cylinder 125cc engine that produced 32bhp and revved to 19,500rpm, while the RC165 had a 250cc six-cylinder engine that made 52bhp and revved to 14,500rpm.

Im not sure if they are useful for a bucket or not but Ive got a set of Suzuki wheels, 17*3 front and 17*3.5 rear, I think they are GSXR 250, Front has axle, spedo drive and spacer. Rear has sprocket carrier and bolts (missing a nut), cush drive rubbers and axle, it is missing the spacer that goes through the sprocket carrier, has the other spacer though. $150 in Chch

Buckets is on in Auckland this weekend.
Bring your riding gear and come up for a look, you should get a ride on something, especially if you turn up tomorrow (Saturday)
With the current availability of sidecars you'll probably have to build your own so bring a camera on Sunday if you are that keen.

Gl145 or XR200 should bolt on you will still need to jet it, put a big foam filter on it though.
A place in Auckland was selling Keihin copies of the four stroke carb.
