just got it connected up today at the shop. What a difference, especially on this site. Instant page loads no more waiting, the down side is that it is only for work use untill we see how many gigs we need to use. So I am still posting on dail up at home for now, anyway. :bleh:

with buying the new house i got broadband, so a nice 2mb connection at work, and then a slow 256k at home but it will do

I'm not sure what the work connection runs at; it used to be a microwave link to the Sky Tower for all our communications (including phone), but it was unreliable, so now it's some fast broadband thingo. Has to be, as we act as an ASP for some of our clients.

Yeah we its me and wifes first house, since buying a house we wouldn't have alot of spare money, i siad i am getting dsl at least gives me something to when i have to sit around at home.

Yeah well since about 6 business go thru us for internet connection needs to be good speed, espically with tons and tons of edi

Once u have broadband ull never go back.
i wont even bother getting dial up when i go flatting. takes too long.

its good when ur at work too and its free. :headbang:

We don't have broadband and i don't think we will for a while due to we are off for a holiday in the near future.

NZ doesn't even really have broadband as such, well not international standard anyway. Over in Japan I was constantly using 100mb connections, slowest I came across was about 50mb. But I have to say now that i have 2mb at home, I could never go back to dial-up.

well you see i need something uncaped, so i stick with 256k better than the 24k dialup i been connecting at for past 6 months

the down side is that it is only for work use untill we see how many gigs we need to use.Yeah, I'm limited to 10gigs/month (or 100gigs/month national) - it's a bastard... :moon:
