Its one thing to get a machine to walk, its quite another to get it to do any work.

I dont know if its been any further than being a prototype, would be good to see it developed, I could sure use one.

Nooooooo waaaay -

That'd have to be more complex and equally as pointless as putting VTEC on a perfectly good engine :bleh:

*We likes Viffers though, we does, just not convinced by VTEC*

On a similar theme, Big Dog is a four-legged robot developed by Boston Dynamics. Quite impressive when it resists falling over when pushed sideways.

This is the little known beta version of the Big Dog. Notice how they got the legs stuffed up?

Weird - without being rude -whats the point of it? Is it so really fat Americans don't have to walk up a hill to get to the trees?

This one does something

I would hate to think of the money that Big Dog cost. Millions at least I would say.

thats awe inspiring, a deforestaton machine. I like the comment "I wonder when john deere will make a machine to plant trees as quick as this one cuts them down"

I bet it uses a bit of deisel
