I am embarking on a journey to Gisborne at hopefully 5 in the morning, so I would like to take this oppertunity to wish everyone a very merry christmas and a happy new year, but it goes further than that, why should you only have a happy christmas, I want you to enjoy everyday as a new exciting adventure, you are all wonderful people and you have provided me with such excellent advice. don't worry about the water falling out of the sky at the moment.

I'm sure it will clear up around 4.00 - and its only there to clear all the shit of the road anyway.

Watch out for BDC's who can't keep to their side of the road. And don't forget to stop if you feel yourself "zoning out".

Have a good trip. You go past our place North of Napier. It is fine and warm here. The Wairoa road is clean and dry but watch out for the goats they are all over the road at the moment. If one crosses in front of you the rest will. Happy Christmas and safe travels.
