Needle and seat STUCK. HELP!

I Have a NSR 250 which has been running crap, I recently noticed a small chip in the seat in the carb. But I cannot pull the seat out to replace it. How do you get one of these pressed seats out.

Grab it with a set of vicegrips, have the carb body secured in a vice, and pull on the bloody thing, bit like pulling a tooth out I guess he he!
What type of carb is it? Can ya post pics?
