Live after Death - Long beach arena
IMHO one of Iron Maiden's greatest live concerts. ( they are all great, but if we have to be picky :) )
Just bought the DVD.
Awesome, re-mastered in 5.1 Dolby digital bloody fantastic.
But what else would you expect from the greatest metal band of all time
Up the Irons!!!!

What no Jim2 here yet?
Absolutely underrated band. The finest two guitar attack in the world (with the possible exception of Thin Lizzy's Brian Robertson and Scott Gorham).
Fun stuff to play too as a guitarist.
BTW WTF is this in PD?
I was cranking 'The Trooper' this morning. followed by some Judas Priest.
Oh. Yeah.

EDDIE in one of his many guises :headbang: Derek Rigg made Iron Maiden just as popular as their music
Live after Death originally was a compilation of the best performances of the whole tour not just the Long Beach arena though when Bruce Dickson cranks up the crowd for Running Free takes a bit of beating :niceone:

LOL, I first got the tapes about 20 years ago and when I got a stereo with CD it was the first thing I brought to play on it. Its in storage at the moment but I've got a copy in the car I think. Definitly the best thing they ever put out IMO and I think whoever put this thread in PD needs a motorcycle boot hard to the arse.

Iron Maiden!
I went and watched the Live after Death concert live in England. Absolutely bloody amazing!
Shall have to watch the DvD to see if I can see myself..
They performed in Australia in February though and never came here, that was somewhat dissapointing.. but oh well. They're Metal Gods. They can do whatever.

Very big in India, apparently. (http://music.guardian.co.uk/omm/story/0,,2060017,00.html)
'White man came, across the sea.
He took our land, and liberty'
And yes, I do know it's about Native Americans. And so do the Indians of the SE Asian variety.
Here is a personal Maiden favorite of mine from their fisrt Album.
That brings back some good memories:cool:
