Oxford HD chains.

At the moment my bike is rather unsecure when not in the garage and so I am thinking of getting an Oxford HD chain.

Hardened 9.5mm square link chain and a 65mm laminated double locking padlock with hardened steel shank make this a tough and heavy-duty chain lock.

While it sounds good, how would one of these stand up against a theif? Anyone have any tales to tell?

Search it, there were some videos posted, how different chains can withstand the thief's efforts. The main idea: if they want it, they will take it.

I saw this video in another thread. Most chains don't last 30 seconds against a bolt cutter.

I have just gotten an alarmed chain, it has a wire going through the middle that if it is broken an alarm screems. I like it.

i doubt thats a high tenstile chain .
we have chains at work about quarter inch i think and there high tenstile .
a 240 horse jd tractor snorting on the things wont break them
