Well like Britney says, "Oops, I did it again!" ... this fine day, I am now the proud new owner of Betsy, a nice tarty RZ350 :woohoo:
It was all touch n'go, but a welcoming committee was arranged via Donor, Blue Thunder and Sprag. I was meant to be taking a cage and a trailer, but was disabused of this heretical plan and resulted in me being pillioned by Blue Thunder!
Somehow we all ended up BP Autobahn Papakura, ready to meet Betsy and Chanceyy at Te Aroha.
Was a bit of a foggy patch heading to Ngatea and it seems the double 'ard cruisier bastards wiv' their fingerless gloves got to prove their rep!
Sprag needed to meet Ivana Tinkle and he got to meet her a lot this trip! :msn-wink:
Anyhow, at Te Aroha met up with Betsy and Chanceyy and got into a right ol'natter about things biking and Betsy. After the confab, I got onto Betsy, fired her up and promptly smoked out the entire road! :devil2: got a bit of nosh at the local greasy spoon (mmm Steak and Mussel pie anyone?) and back home we went.
Home via Hamilton and Quasi's! :innocent: Blue Thunder needed some new leather trousers and I ended up with a new pair of glubs. Then a quick pootle back home so all could end up rested and basking in a job well done.
Well all except for me, who had to cage it back to pick up the rest of Betsy's wardrobe! Extra wheel rims, body trim, a clapped out donk etc. etc.!
All good! Got in an extra chat with Chanceyy and it was all go go home! Just processed the piccies and heres the thread!
Pic1 : The misbegotten trio on the prowl for loose change, looser women (or men) and unattended food
Pic2 : The stop at Ngatea had Donor strutting his stuff, impressing the local girlies who followed him like a Molestacating Pied Piper
Pic3 : Mmmm Betsy, myyyy pprrreccccciouuuusssssss....
Pic4 : Mmmm Betsy, so tarty and smelly and smoky!
Pic5 : Mmmm Betsy, so d'you come here often then?
Pic6 : I hope this Quasi chap does come onto me!

And at this moment, Betsy is snuggled up in a nice man cave with her bits covered, got a lekky blankie and everything chur chur! And she is fed and entertained...
Got her nose in a feedbag and scoffing away without remorse and after the tucker is into a good read ... only for the articles mind! :o :msn-wink:
She's a good lass, will see how she reacts when I start to tart her up a bit more and put on some glad rags! :innocent:
wtf you got another bike???

This is what poor defenceless motor bikes need is adoption from those who would see the poor motor bike being neglected or abused, i say adopt a motorcycle today, and sell your children into slavery.

Only purchased 1 1/2 bikes...
When is your bike dealership going to open? Not that you will sell any bikes, but you will get to ride any bike you wish!

As I have stated previously, with hand over heart and scout's gesture ... I promise not to buy any more bikes this year! :o
Instead I shall devote myself to restoring the other two tarty RZ chew fiddies (namely Daphne and Dandi) to full working order and end up wrecking the entire gubbermint plans of carbon credits to barter with :innocent:
However... let it be known that now I have a 100cc (ok, make that 1 1/2), 1 operating RZ250 (and two to be put back on the road), a RZ350 (who shall be spanked and spanked again), a little ol'hornet (who is rejoicing in being given a little break from being ridden all over the show) and a Big Ol'Hornet ...
This is enuff for even an almighty plonker like me ... (Tui ad) I'm now creating a little roster to ensure I keep track of making sure I spread the riding love among them all!
Thanks everybody for putting up with my idiosyncratic ways, I still got a passel of things to do yet ... and its sure dang fun to do it unsensibly like the way I am! Ahyuk!
Momma done told me I was a dang fewl for bein' a biking idjit!

Well, what can I say but DAMN that bike is a ... a ... a downright SLAPPER!
She spent most of the ride back to The Counties Region(tm)* staring at the bum of My Bike, however on top of the Bombays she zapped past, hurtling a red camo wearing occupant at warp 4.7 before settling down and wiggling her skinny butt in My Bikes face, so much so that My Bike not only begin to leak fluid over the rear tire, my boots and much of SH1, but when the two of them finally got a hance to talk in my gargre, My Bike lost his load all over the ground!
I've had to separate the crusier and Betsy, I believe her intent is to bring no end of mischief into my gargre and its environs!
And with Peetwo, the newest A100 and EJs FXR in there, alas the reading material has been hidden as well, lest I be accused of corrupting minors!
*I do NOT live in bloody Auckland, Papakura is 32km south of Auckland, I live in the Counties region dammit!

well Donor I did try to warn you boyz but I am sure you ignored me ..
nice to see you bike has no control & loses his load so easily & quickly in the company of the said slapper ... it does have taste after all (for a cruiser).. I do believe there is a specific name for that condition ..

Chanceyy, you must be the perfect height because when I sat on Betsy it was one of the most comfortable sport bikes out there! It's nice to know Justin has a 2 stroke that doesn't have a deathwished gimpy front brake too, that rz350 goes! :O

I'm not talking about the actual brakes, I'm takling about the brake LEVER, you have to be Dhalsim from Street Fighter just to reach the damn thing on Daisy. Every single person apart from him who has ridden it tells him to get it fixed, but noooo, stubborn asian.
I prefer Betsy over Daisy.:headbang::headbang:

You'd have to physically bend it to do that :D
You do realise if you're going to go down that route to prove a point you're going to have to do the same to your 746294 other bikes :>

And it finally turns out .. that its the clutch lever in question :slap: :thud: I was already in agreement that the clutch lever was a problem, but nothing wrong with the brake lever since I had already replaced it!
I dunno ... I think I have to hit zeocen with a Motorcycling Basics Manual sometimes I do ... my giddy aunt!
