Well well well....

Ive gotta let the little GSX go now as I’ve got a SV650 in the garage now.

What can i say, great bike, Excellent condition, sooooo reliable, excellent on petrol etc. PERFECT LEARNER BIKE, or a good step up from your GN250, Scorpio etc. (I went from my Suzuki Volty to this bike) Its even got a fuel gauge and gear indicator!!!

Handles suprisingly well when pushed in the right direction, theres a video on youtube somewhere with me chasing down some of the big bikes on it.

Its basically on par with hyosungs GT250R, but a parallel twin rather than a V twin. (so like the GPX250 / Ninja 250 etc.) Its almost the same size so its great for taller people too, I’m 6’5” and its all good.

Ive done probably 7-10 coro loops on this bike and it always leaves me with a smile on my face with the way it just drops into corners.

Its got Bridgestone battleaxes on it atm, great tyres compared with the complete shit that they come with when new. They are about half worn.

Ive put another sprocket on the front with an extra tooth because as standard the bike sits way to high in the revs on the open road. So with the new sprocket the revs sit at about 1000 rpm lower than normal, which is great as it makes 6th into an overdrive. Much nicer on long rides. (The new chain and sprocket were put on back in February and the bike has done hardly any km’s since then!! (Probably about 3,000kms)

Gets heaps of looks too... specially from boy racers who try give it a go lol!

The k's are higher than most GSX's you see, and that for one reason only:

I BOUGHT IT TO RIDE IT! NOT TO LOOK AT IT!!!

Its been regularly serviced every 4,000 k's, always washed, fluids checked before rides etc. So Overrall very well maintained...

LAST SERVICED AT 29,500 kms. So its still got 2,000 km’s before the next service is due.

There is a couple of negatives with it.

(And I'm really picky with my bikes)

1) Theres some small scratches on the right side (and a tiny crack near the indicator) where it was dropped by the previous owner, at about 10kph - they were still learning on it. You can only notice them if your really looking for them.

2) The neutral sensor doesn’t seem to work when the bikes been going for more than 10 minutes. (This just means it cant be started with the side stand down) But if its been left for about 2 hours its sweet again!!! I went to Moto GB to see what they thought, and if i could get a replacement part. But Suzuki NZ dont have them anymore. But I know where the wire is under the bike and have fiddled with it and im pretty sure that with some duct tape it can be fixed!!! But i havent tried because ive been spending my time putting K's on my new SV. Its never been a problem that’s annoyed me anyway. It never gives me problems when I take it out of the garage and warm it up.

Ive also got the manual for it in a clear file, its still got the tool kit under the seat.

REGO till 18/09/2008 and WOF till December, so all you need to do is ride it away and enjoy!

Price is $4500 Or near offer.
