Right, changed my sprockets today and put a new o-ring chain on. TEnded up having to drill out the holes on the rear sprocket as they were too small for the bolts.. and in order to the the front sprocket off I had to stand on the rear brake while my mate use two spanners combined to get the extra leverage.

That was ok, took a while but we got it done, but then it was a HUGE mission to get the old chain off. Ended up taking to it with a sledge hammer, haha.

So, the last part was getting the new chain on, and now I'm a bit worried out the chain clip. I used a g clamp then put the clip on and whacked it across with a flat head screw driver and a hammer, but the clip didn't move back into place.
Any idea how hard it is to do it properly and rivet the chain together? Is it best to take it into colemans tomorrow and see if they can put a rivet in ? Hopefully wont cost too much!

Nevermind, took it into colemans and they sorted it out for me.

The clips aren't usually that tight, you can usually just use some needle nose pliers to move them on?

Why did you have to use a sledge hammer to remove the old chain?

I hadn't compressed the master link enough to slide the clip over, so ended up stretching the clip a bit. All sorted now though.

I didn't have anything else apart from a sledge hammer to take the chain off and the chain had no link to pull apart, wasn't too keen to take the bike apart to get the chain off either, so out came the sledge!
