Come on I know you have named your bikes.
So whats your bikes name and why????
hmm? Oh and referring to your bike as "The RF" or "ZZR" is not considered naming them in this poll.
Mine is called "Carrie". Mostly because I like the play on words that she carrys me. lol and yes shes a girl...arnt all bikes girls?

Is that because of the colour or the sound? jk
At least she cares enough to refer to it at all.

my bike is only a month old and I haven't found a name as yet. I originally wanted to call her 'mate'. As in I am just going out with me mate, my mate and I are off for a run.. etc but when i first saw her, he turned into a she and it was love at first sight.
Last night my partner and I were off for a walk (exercise, not romantic) and she passed comment that I should call my bike after her. I replied why and she said that way i could go round telling everyone how much time I was spending with H****** and they'd be none the wiser thinking her and I were having lotsa lovely time together.
Surely she wasn't trying to make a point????????? Nahhhhh

If you've seen monsters inc and other animated films you'll get many of the weird and seemingly off topic references I sometimes make....

ah some bikes do name themselves then. Nice.. Although a little embarrasing if you exclaim.."I'm off to have a ride on the duck"...or on Daffy could be a bit odd too.

I call it the 'SV650'. My dear wife says it reminds her of a praying mantis, but it's still the 'SV650', or 'that bloody bike'.

'The Duke' is a mad raving female for sure. Despite calling her 'The Duke' I refuse to ackowledge that I have in fact given her a name...

My AX100 bucket is Pamela (cause anyone can have a ride... slut!)
My new bucket is Rangi da Munta... cause the name just suits him!

I think names are gay.
It has to be something that is recognisable - just like a persons name.
so what happens if you ring up a random bike shop, and ask them for a whatsitpart for Dorothy? theyll be like WTF.
I keep it simple. TL & DR. every cunt knows what im referring to with those names.

Good point LOL
But when I ring the shop and ask when the black bitch will be ready they know which bike it is!

I have a Ducati. but it is a small and dainty Ducati so "Duke" doesn't really cut the mustard so I refer to my bike as "The Duchess".
Besides - I wouldn't want to ride a bloke would I?

my bike's so loud it wouldn't hear me even if I had a name for it
see - i'd have to have two names, one for the bike and its loud twin-into-muffler sound, then have another pet-name for the chiang chaing clutch rattle

I called my modified Corgi World war two folding paratrooper scooter "Beatswalkin" and had it painted on the side.
Used it when in the NZ Army band. It fitted on the instrument truck when we went on tour. Rode around most of the bigger towns on NZ on it. Nobody much outside my unit remembers me but they all remember the crazy bandsman in full dress uniform, instrument under arm, tearing down the Burnham camp roads on Beatswalkin, nearly late for parade.
