Hey all, here's my baby that im selling. got her from wild west honda a couple of months back and she's been awesome!! i really dont want to sell her but due to a recent bin i had (on a different bike) my insurance premium's been jacked up and i now cant really afford to keep her around (im a poor student). she handles awesome and is the source of endless thrills.

ive listed her on trademe (http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Motorbikes/Motorbikes/Sports/auction-163382571.htm) at a lil bit more than what ive listed here, id know she'd be going to a good home if bought by a kber :niceone:

pm me or text/call me on 021 119 5747 if keen to have a look. i tried uploading pic from album but its not letting me so go to "the nest" in social groups and ive got a pic of her up on there

EDIT: Since i am looking to downgrade after this sale, ill consider a smaller bike as part trade. will only consider 400cc or smaller with $4000 value or less. I have also updated the trademe link.

cheers,
nish :done:

here's a few pics

man of course i dont WANT to sell her but the poor things spent the better part of my care either in the garage or accumulating commuting kms!!! Did you hear that?!?! COMMUTING KMS:eek5:!!!! thats not what i got her for!! ive realised that she'd be happier in a home where she sees open road and gets her pegs scraped every now and then.....not happy to see her go but i think its best for both of us :crybaby:

EH??? EY????

wtf why a 250 or a 400? You surely deserve something atleast a 600! ;)

bomma
21st May 2008, 19:18
^ lol what i deserve and what i can afford are, unfortunately, on two completely different levels!! im keen on that zx6r tho....if i can get this beast sold soon, i mite completely ignore my financial situation and buy that and realise two months after that i cant afford to keep her either :2thumbsup boys and our bikes aye

Bro, bit shocked you'll selling the old Hornet but it frikking costly keeping a bike!

I totally get you, tell me about it, commuting on a 900 cc is pointless!!

Everytime I take the blade for a commute I keep telling myself, "oh man, the poor, poor tyres!".

I've looked trading something smaller also (but not anytime too soon), like a dual purpose 250/400 for commuting (those new suzuki motards look good), or a easy 600 cc.

Times changing fellows, I've gone back to cycling a bit...

bomma
21st May 2008, 21:44
i hear ya dude!! i took a massive reality check and manned up to the facts....n yea ive started cycling a bit more too...and plus it really helps that my papers are in tamaki this sem coz my parents are happy to lend me a cage if the weather's crap or i need to get to uni in a hurry for any reason!!

i should post up how wonderful my parents are in the "parents group" in the social groups

cool ill take this one:

Vielle Bon Secours:
This tops the list of the world's most expensive beer, costing around £500 (equivalent to around $1,000) per bottle or about £39 (equivalent to around $78) per pint. It can only be found in a bar called the Bierdrome in London.

thanks kim :2thumbsup:beer:

Hey Bomma, maybe you can add to your trademe linky that you might consider a cheaper bike as part trade.... I am sure there will be plenty of people looking to upgrade from a smaller to a bigger bike

consider a trade for a 2003 R6? previous owner was a careful lady who put on handwarmers and current owner only really uses it for commuting. it could do with lowering and has a slight scuff where lady owner dropped it in driveway but otherwise mint ;)

if not, get an NC30!

look! (http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Motorbikes/Motorbikes/Sports/auction-161336311.htm)

and this guy is even looking to upgrade! (http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Motorbikes/Motorbikes/Sports/auction-161850229.htm)

^ aaaargh im so tempted...how many kms?? wait NO i shudnt....*but its an r6*......but the whole reason im doing this is to....*screw reason find out about the bike*.....no shut up.....*get it*......SHUT UP!!!

ok sorry about that umm nah man cant do it....would defeat the purpose of sellin my bike if i got one that's worth just as much and goes faster.....ill look at a smaller bike when i sell this one....the guy looking to upgrade is asking for a bit much dont ya think?? its done a fuckload of kms.....engine will prolly be needing some work very shortly.....

lol mine is sitting at over 70k now and no record of engine work at all aside from oil and filter - provided the reg/rec is aftermarket there isn't much to go wrong

it's an NC30 - they don't need work (cept for the REALLY thrashed ones that never get cared for)

mechanically bombproof - you've seen the abuse i give mine and she still goes hard

i'd be more concerned about the fairings if i were you

couldn't hurt to look, his asking price is $4321.56 - take me, i'll announce every little flaw and if it isn't too badly bent we'll offer $3900 and move up to $4000

plus with that gorgeous horny hornet infront of him he'd take ANY offer

not bad for what is known as the best bike under 600cc ever built

ok that last bit is arguable as some prefer the RS250, but as the RS250 isn't bombproof like the nc30, i say the nc30 is the best and RS250 will just have to take 2nd place

check with Morcs on those bikes... I believe one of them is ex his, and he said don't touch it with a barge pole.

TBH, the hornet is fooken cheap to run, with cheap servicing, and honda reliability. Tyres last over 10k, even with commuting, if you run road tyres, yet you can still have fun on the weekends.

Services have cost $150-$300 (inc the "expensive" ones)... Compare that to the zx10 costing $1300-$1400 (needs tyres and stuff EVERY service)... its flippin' cheap.

Im with Gremlin on this, the Net is quite cheap to run and service an a shit load of fun.
But if he can't afford to keep it well then he's gotta get rid of it:no::no:
