Hi guys
Just trying to price up a slip on and a power commander for my 05 blade.
Does anyone know of any good deals going on at the moment, i would prefer to buy in New Zealand but it looks like it will be cheaper to buy from USA.
Looks like i will be spending around $1k unless anyone knows of a great deal.
Thanks

Just be aware that you have no warranty on a PClll if its not a Kiwi one,I found out the hard way when mine died and had to buy another one in NZ,they record all the serial #'s for NZ new.
I've got a stainless micron(used) off my 06 in the shed, think it'll fit the 04/05 but pay to check, ....$450..its oval and it good nik, coupla small stone dings underneath from tyre.

Yep, no warranty on the PCIII if it dies and you brought it overseas...
However, I brought mine when I was in Cali (no shipping, no duty), and even if I had to have another freighted over, the combined cost would still be less than what it was worth here. So, I spent the savings on a Dynojet LCD touch screen, and a wide band commander :) Bloody Wide Band Commander was $900 here... was less than NZD$400 over there.

I buy all my parts at www.bombaymotorsports.com. The owner is a friend, excellent rider, been in the business for many years and has the best prices anywhere. His store is in Lost Angeles, US of A.
I recently bought a 6000k hid light for my bike that was about $145 US ($170 NZ) and it was almost double that price here in NZ... Never pay retail!
Check him before you buy, as his prices beat anything here in NZ, even with shipping....Tell 'em Alan sent you

Yeah, they die, not frequently, but it does happen. Certainly not factory ECU reliable that's for sure.

They can be a bit subjective. The ohlins shock for my Fireblade turned up the other day, $500 US + freight on the customs docket, and it went straight thru. :2thumbsup (was pleasantly surprised)
In general customs seem towork on a minimum tariff of $50 NZ for duty and GST. Less than that and it costs them more in paperwork and admin to process.
PS, there is NO duty on motorcycle parts, just GST.
