Howdy, first post!
1990 Suzuki bandit 250
I pulled the petrol tank off this morning and spilled a minimal amount of petrol down the left side of the engine in front of the battery - possibly over some of the electrical connections; now the bike has no power.
No ignition lights, nothing. How ever if you jump start it, it's fine and runs normally with the exception of the rev tacho which is very jumpy.
I've checked all the wire connections (and cleaned with contact cleaner), checked the fuses all OK, battery is brand new and has voltage, even took it for a good 10km ride. Still nothing
Petrol should've dried out after several hours and there's no melting of wires or anything that I can see.
Any one got any ideas?
