Hey Dudes, and Dudess's

God it seems ages, since I have put pen to paper, or fingers to keyboard, and been on this site, and boy have I missed you guys!!:dodge:

I got my letter confirming that the Department of Internal Affairs, have recognised that I have the finer qualities of an individual and granted me citizenship.

I could have fallen over when I opened the letter, I was really thinking I wasn't going to be given it, after a conversation I had with the department a while ago, (another story!)

Anyway, I am now a Kiwi, and will be a fully feathered one, once the mayor has put on his jewellery and given me a certificate at a ceremony and given me a cabbage tree. Like er where the hell am I going to plant that eh!!

Am absolutely wrapped. Got text mania when I found out, both here and in the UK.

I am going back th England for 1 month June 25th - July 25th and am hanging out to get there and see my ma and pa, who are now in their 80's and I love the guys to bits, and can't wait to see all my mates to have a few beers with them again in the British sunshine.

Must keep doing the lotto, as I love living here and love England too, so it would be good to have a house in both fantastic countries.

I am that mixed up about what to do, I feel like I am contorted!!

Have decided upon the venue for the Queenstown Rally next year. The Garston Pub....Read the thread to fin out more.

Bye for now, from a red wine drinking elated Woodybee, who is floating on air at being a Kiwi/Brit Chick, and feeling slightly pissed too!!

Wooohooooo:apint::woohoo::spudbooge:spudflip::drin kup::clap::2thumbsup

Congrats to you!

I was thinking of doing this too....but now I'm starting to think of giving up and heading back to Scotland.

You seem really happy here though so well done.

They don't give us locals bits of paper to say we are citizens, sometimes I think I need one though! Congratulations. Cheers.

Grrr, how do you get your quote within the quote again!!!

Anyway, Jimbo, I reckon that as long as you are happy then your life can be anywhere mateypoos. Eversince my life went a bit wonky when I got divorced.....years ago.....I took that as an opportunity to go Oh Fuck it lets see what else is out there, and the whole dimension of my life, just exploded into more fun than ever before.

You should certainly weigh it up though mate, its a nice place to be and with Citz, then you can come and go if you want to.:2thumbsup

Description: The nocturnal flightless North Island Brown Kiwi is so remarkably unbirdlike in appearance and behavior that is has sometimes been referred to as an "honorary mammal."

Welcome!!!!!!now your an Honorary mammal!!!

After kiwi chicks hatch, however, they receive no parental care. Unlike other bird species, kiwis hatch fully feathered and equipped with all of the necessary skills they need to survive.

Us kiwi chicks are set once we have our wheels aye!!!!!:lol:96545
