Arrive at the track at 8am and the pits are full. Very impressive. Victoria MCC can be proud of how well thier reputation for running great events lures the irders out.. even in winter!

Nicsta has kindly offered a shared place in the pits so find our way there and unload the kit. Tony.ok, Johan, Scracha, Nicksta and Frenchy all eagerly waiting to get out there.

The fields are huge so bit of pressure to qualify in F1 and F2. Scrub the new tyres in a part lap and wait for the summons for qualifying. Bit worried that it may be an early day at the pub!

First session go out and all feels good. Track is cold and it is hard to keep operating temperature in the tyres. Superbike Qualify 11th

Qualifying Supersport. BJ Cawthorn and I hang back and make some space to tow each other along for some decent times. Both overshoot on couple of corners but not too bad - Qualify 11th

First race Supoerbike. Bit undecided whether to do this one. Should I wait for Supersport but then thought some practise would be good.

Get an average start. Get into work mode and struggle for grip a little. 1 lap completed and in the second lap make a pass around the outside of turn 2 and lose the front end coming into turn 3. Bike is not too good and have a bit of the road rash. Great place to watch the race out in the infield!
Park the bike up and watch the rest of the day. Great racing.

Thanks AJ for packing me bike back to the pits and a very kind lady driving the pick up. Thanks to the marshalls on a very cold day.

Mark

Hey Mark, Bugger bout the incident. So who's got the road rash, you or the bike? And did it stay on one side?
