Today I was out n about in my work ute, cruising down the north western motorway... guy on a bike comes flying past me in middle lane (I was in fast lane) cuts in front of me but came close to collecting the car I was approaching on my left in the middle lane. I slowed down a tad so he could safely cut me off (saw thats what was gonna happen).

Then he goes to the slow lane n just 'cruises'... I still kept my eye on him as I knew he'd prob gun it again soon n cut back to the fast lane... sure enough he did... I watched him ride off out of sight.

Heres where the question comes in... I got on the southern from the NW...
& he had been pulled over by a bike cop just before grafton...

I laughed!!... somtimes you do the 'wish there was a cop around' when u get cut off on ya bike etc... well today it was the reverse... & I did laugh!!

poll time... question... 'if you see a rider riding like a dick then see them pulled up by the 5-0 would you laugh??'

Edit: cant add poll... I clicked too far lol... oh well... thoughts?? would you laugh ? :)

I kept an eye on him from the moment I saw him in my rear view n then yeah... the dodgy pass left me thinking 'what a tool, if I hadnt slowed down cuz I knew he was gonna do that, he could've caused an accident' (I was coming up to the car in the middle lane reasonably fast then saw him speed up) would've either crossed into the front left of my car or ran outta space n hit the right rear of the other car (he almost did!)

I do hope the bike cop gave him a talking to n he rides safer!!!
(must've been pulled for speeding thru the 80kph zone)

needs a wake up call before an accident happens!

I saw a bloke in his company car do something rediculiously stupid last week. Its a very large and well respected company here too. So i 018'd thats shit and phoned their head office on my cell :2guns:. told them exactly what had happened and supplied rego number etc. I had a random pen in my overalls which worked mean.

I'm quite sure he would have lost his job- and that makes me laugh.

HAR HAR har har.

People would have to behave a bit more idiotic than that before I get my schadenfreude on TBQH.

Hands up those who have never done anything stupid...

That is very true. I totally agree.

I have only thrown Yoghurt at people who deserve it.

Woe that's spooky, I was nosing on your profile page and I gotta (number one has just quoted you )pop up doings. Man I felt guilty, like I was robin your house while you were out. I thought it said number one has just spotted you.

No you miss understand, a (smug) titter is a titter for when justice has been served and no further action is required on the part of the titterer.

Had the bonio not got his comeuppance ,I feel sure he would have got the stink eye followed by the stink finger and then a (yes I'm 'ard) titter.

Do keep up bruisey bruisey stink stink.

I used to work in the same office as another KBer (who shall remain nameless) and we both used to commute along the Southern motorway.

One evening he left work before I did and as I was pootling along in lane 2a I couldn't help but notice there was a bike cop talking to another biker....and yep...t'was the fella from work.

How I laughed and laughed....and then giggled some more!

Lmao, I wanted say I'd laugh and point but Martybabe beat me to it.

Though it does remind me of a few weeks back when I was pulled up down the Foxton straights, and I was on the side of the road explaining to the officer that no I didn't have a habit of speeding, I hadn't been speeding, and that my speed had merely creeped up in the last 50m when he clocked me.

Meanwhile the long line of cars I had passed in the past 20 minutes started to go past, Beeping their horns, Pointing, laughing,, Even got the finger from one family wagon.

I waved back politely.

The cop looked grim.

Lmao.

lol... I think some have taken the wrong angle.

nobodys perfect no... but gee I did have a snigger when I saw that

Im sure if it'd been me riding n the person I cut off earlier down the motorway went past, surely they'd have a laugh seeing me pulled over after the fact lol. :pinch:

No. I will just shake my head.

Its cause and effect. I dont find it funny. Its just normal. I have times when I ride slow, I have times when I ride fast, and also moments when I'm a complete fool (usually riding solo), and if I do get pulled over during my fool stage - then so be it.

Cause and effect, but I dont laugh at them no.

my 2c.
