Apologies to Paul Pav at MNZ

I am here to publicly apologise to Paul Pavletich

I have stated that I did not believe he was up to the position of being our COE due to things I have been told and how I saw things going

I believed I was doing the write thing to try and bring it out in public to get all talking together instead of in little huddles

Reality, I was out of order and rude to conduct this in the way I did

Pual, My true apologies for what went on, I will go away and shut now, and GROW UP AGAIN

Hey Shaun, I've always considered that you were a straight up guy. And you are, more so than I had even imagined. You're a BIG man. :2thumbsup

You may recall that I had the opinion that from where I sat (on the fringe) Pav was doing a good job. And was head and shoulders above Trevor Gill, who I had many (nasty) issues with. :2guns:

But good on ya Shaun. It would be interesting to know why the turn around. But then again you may want to keep that private?

I attended a "MNZ meet the members" meeting a few years ago and the idea of a public forum running on the MNZ website was well supported. A few worries re moderation etc but should have been all good. The idea was it would bring "real time" discussion amongst the whole community. The benefit for our leaders and admin is it would save them huge amounts of time. Anywhere in the world, waiting for a plane etc, they can log in and keep up to date. A great, modern tool. Nothing happened. A year later when the new President came in, she commissioned an independent survey. Feedback: that MNZ was insular, lacking in communication. Still no forum as a solution.
Yes, people can send in ideas, and our commissioner Paul Stewart is superb in accepting and responding (top marks Paul) (And Johnny Hepburn too, before he resigned)
I had hoped the Thread "For the good of..." would develop into this and could encourage our leaders to participate. I still hope for this.
The recent disappointment for me is the two RR board member candidates who missed out at the election are advocates for just these processes.

Let's invite MNZ people to look at KB as a freindly, positive and well moderated place that all matters, including the tough ones can be discussed with honesty and integrity. We'd all win from this, big time.
