Hey guys,

My GN didn't come with tool kit coz previous owner dropped it somewhere (He told me when he came back home lid and kit was gone lol)

I want something just pretty basic, something I can do basic adjustments/maintenances...

Budget is up to $20.

Or can I have something for free? :p

Thanks in advance!

Dammit man haven't you stolen a screwdriver, rachet, a few sockets, and an allan key or two from Stephen's like I told you to yet?? That'd do you just fine . Either that or find a GN at uni and locate its tool set.

Yeah, or find someone on here who will sell it to ya, I guess that could be an option.

I agree -- as I said to you in person, bike toolkits are generally utterly useless. I'm sure the GN250 one would be the same. Really only there for emergencies when you're out in the middle of nowhere and can put up with jamming your fingers and potentially rounding off bolts etc.

Better off going to Mitre 10 and spending $20 on a cheap ring spanner set. Spark plug sockets are about $7 from a bike shop. Get a couple of decent screwdrivers (you saw the difference between those two cross-head screwdrivers I had).

Go to Repco, they sell small tool kits for about ten bucks. Yeah, their basic and won't last a lifetime, but if it's a tool kit that'll stay on your bike, you'll only use it once or twice.

Ok, I'll go Repco and Mitre10. Thanks guys!!

I want something that will stay on bike, but can do basic maintenance/adjustments. I will see what I can find!
