Well I missed a meeting at work last week. Now it was pretty early, I mean it was for first thing in the afternoon. Who's together by then? You can still taste the toothpaste.
Well, I got in a bit of trouble with the boss... he made a new meeting to discuss me missing the first one... and yep you guessed it I missed that too.
I was out half the night with a girl in the middle of the waitak's (it was my day off).
So I managed to miss a meeting about missing a meeting
I'm certainly in barney now... :bye:

Well I guess I should get ready for my next meeting at 2pm....
9am in the morning is like 4am to a shift worker who always works evenings/nights !

Just remember to gut a fish on your reports, turn up with your toothbrush in your mouth, belch loudly, wear the same clothes for a week ... that'll give him other things to worry about instead of you missing a meeting for missing a meeting!

Call a meeting with yourself and adopt a new person-wide policy of not attending meetings.
I have missed the last two around here... on purpose!
Time savings are immense and productivity is up. Everyone should do it!

Y' best bet is to roll up some random time when he looks real busy and say "Hi, you'll be pleased to note I'm on time for this meeting". Do that a few times and he'll be so confused he'll lose track of whether his beef with you is missing meetings or turning up for meetings that aren't scheduled. Could even tell you to stop turning up to meetings at all.

It sounds like you don't actually take your job a hell of a seriously. Perhaps you should move onto something that does interest you and let someone else have a crack as you're obviously not going to put the effort in.

Meetings are organized by people who do not have friends - they use the meeting as social intercourse.
Either that or the meeting organizer has no idea what his/her staff are doing (or their names thus afraid to ask what they are doing) so he/she organizes a meeting so everyone can tell him/her what they are doing to get him/her up to speed for their meeting with their boss!
Incidentally your bosses boss has no idea what he/she is up to either as he/she has been playing golf.
By missing your meetings you have exposed your boss.
