Ideal kit?

Lets say money wasnt an issue (not cos your rich but because you are happy to pay for the best when it comes to your arse vs road chip).

What make / styles of kit (Names / brands etc) would you get for a: winter riding and b: summer cruising. Im talking the whole package - helmet, jacket, pants, boots, gloves, inner wear, outer wear, over wear, under... well you get the idea:yeah:

Aerostich two piece hi viz suit (all the time), electric vest (COLD, WET nights), shoei helmet, technic boots and a few pairs of gloves; technic and I think fox motocross gloves(summer), silk glove liners, kathmandu technical socks, ear plugs, silk balaclava, joe rocket perforated coat and pants (summer).

Never heard of the Joe Rocket gear so I'll check it out. Having previously ridden an R80 RT I'd never worn wet-weather gear - seriously. So long as you are moving, you just don't get wet.

Anyway, the Duke is a different matter and going to the Cold Duck I used one of those Warehouse PVC coats and gotta agree with 98TLS, it was the business. Kept me warm in freezing air and dry when there was a bit of rain. Cheap and simple.

I'm not even going to try to count all the different brands I use... even down to warehouse yellow pants... even lasted 3 winters, I was counting on one.

I think fit is one of the primary factors, rather than brand. The armour/support will do didly squat if it rotates, and I've seen it happen enough. Price wise, I don't buy cheapest... then vary according to requirements/features/fit.

I am quite keen to get a decent Kodura suit for long cruises and inclement weather - and maybe a black leather jacket and a pair of draggin jeans for summer... there are so many different makes of gear its getting a bit mind bending!

Nordic pro Dririder jacket is great.
All you need is a tee shirt underneath n you are toasty warm.
