View Full Version : Couple of general questions
Hi guys. hope this is the place to post this.
Need a little bit of help.
My FXR150 is due (well overdue) for its rego. didnt get a reminder so a month later i looked at the label and see its lapsed. What price is this going to be? being a student dont have alot of money so need to prepare.
Second question is: my wof is coming up soon (not going to miss that) and i know that i am probably going to need two new tyres. Where is the best place for me to go and get these? I live in chch.
Thanks Joe

It won't cost you any extra, but when you register it, the new registration will just start from the expiry date, not the date you register it. 12 Month bike rego is $285.71 but you can pay for a shorter period.

That fee you've mentioned Tumbles is for first time Registration, What Zee is talking about is just the vehicle Licence fee, which for a bike over 61cc is $224.28 for 12 months see here

Right now the rego bit is taken care of onto tyres and well your options are well nearly endless, where to go locally, Budget have one (if not the largest) range in store and some knowledgeable staff, then there is Pit Lane, Manchester street, next to Street and Sport, or ask where you get your bike serviced.
For the WOF try Gloucester Motor Company, corner of Gloucester and Fitz, the sponsor (well he proved the facility's) of this event (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=72248) come alone on a Wednesday and join in the fun.

You are welcome glad to help where I can, shame you cant make the Wednesday nights as during the daylight savings months we hold regular rides every week but the dollars are most important, (its a bugger that), keep and eye on the tread there and check in on meetings and events you might just see a ride on a weekend you feel like joining in on :), or recently we had the rider training weekend, well worth the dollars spent on that event.
Take care and we look forward to seeing you soonish.
