White trash

.. he's 4.5kgs (a tenth of Danni Pedrosa and already as tall at 56cm :))
Keiran Andrew Mair, born 5.36 this evening.
A massive thankyou to the hundreds of texts sent, we just can't afford to reply to you all, we love ya.
Absolute stunner of a child already. But seriously, Sue went to hell and back over this. Babe, I can't believe what you've done. You are simply an inspiration.
I love you and our son more than words or texts or green rep from Katman could ever express.
Right here New Zealand, KBs future MotoGP star.
Edit: A good mate's just pointed out that kgs aint worth a tin of a shit to us oldies. So he's 9 pound 14 ounces. If you know me and Sue, you'll know what a big deal that is. Although, it's mostly manhood :D
Pics added to page 4.

He's tall mate! Couldn't believe the five year old they pulled out.
And Andy, had to chuck one in there eh? I was urging the girl on mate, I mean, bike racing's bike racing!
In all honesty, after the 22 hours that girl's endured, she just wanted it over with.

Keiran Andrew Mair, welcome to the world of motorbikes and racing. :scooter:
You have the most wonderful parents that any kiddie could ever want.
Keiran, please make sure that your daddy, buys you a set of kiddie ear plugs or ear muffs for when he and your mummy take you to the track... cos you need to be able to hear lots of things when you grow up and go to school. The engines can be rather noisey especially when your daddy decides to rev the motors. :scooter:
Keiran, you have two lovely big sisters who will be wanting to help look after you when they come up to visit.
Riff Raff (Sue) and White Trash (Jimmy) congratulations and well done.
Now comes 20 odd years of sleep deprevation and worry.
Now White Trash, hurry up and post up some pic's of Keiran.....

This is your first ? Stunning feeling isn't it. Brings back memories - that first day.. Walk around all day and look at nature completely differently, with a whole new appreciation about what it can do for you. Look at your beautiful now-family and fight back the tears of appreciation.. It gets better too..
Buy a newspaper today and seal it up. When he's much older, open it up so he can read the paper on the day he was born.
You have an important job to do now. You already know what it is.

Congratulations - I don't know either of you, but the birth of a child is always one of those "moments in time" that you live with you forever, and I send you my warmest wishes. The time will fly by so treasure every moment, work the camera overtime, and store up those memories. My two are now 18 and 16 and I wonder where the years have gone.
Plently of rest now all round once the adrenalin has worn off!!

Congratulations to the Trash-Raffs. Top effort, and pleasing to see the babe's weight correctly recorded in kg. It's only been the law since 1969, I'm always aghast at how long it takes people to adjust to change -- three generations in the case of babies and it still hasn't happened.
Ceremonial Hitcher rant over. And welcome to young Keiran.

You know what mate, we can't find ANY motorcycle type stuff for little babies. I'm disgusted, there's obviously a gap in the market there that's not being filled.

I have a snapped-off left clipon from an 07 R1 sitting on my bedside table that'd make an awesome rattle if you filled it with beads and sealed off the end.
