North Island Cup

This was started several years ago, but appears to have dissappeared into the Micheal Cullen tax take vault. Whats wrong with several clubs, (Pacific, Auckland, Victoria, getting together and having one round of their respective club champs as a round of the "North Island Cup". No extra meetings involved. That would mean a round at each of the current North sland circuits. Then, maybe, we could have North Island Champions, and God Forbid, an inter island Challenge.
Nah, no one would be interested in that, would they.

Yep, something along those lines was mooted, disscused by major NI roadracing clubs, trophies were decided upon, system was worked out, and then........
it all simply died for whatever reason(s). One of those reasons being the work required to run the championships that were already being run.

You seem to be interested, go ahead and put your hand up and be the person to organise it.
