Yeah I like.

Its one of the new hybrid looking bikes that takes some getting used to.

Modern Yamaha Cruiser and Suzuki B-King blended.

Leading to the release some day of other interesting concept bikes like this one, Yamaha term Power Crusier.

just spotted it on trade me, fuck the 1200 was fast enough.
with all that HP, i hope it corners better than the 1200.
still it would look bloody awesome sitting in my driveway.

Yes, Vmax as I've voiced before should NEVER be called a cruiser. But that presents the problem of... WHAT IS IT!! a freak of nature

$99,999 for that one on trademe lol

did anyone notice the V-Max in the "club mans B" class on Saturday.. nice guy and he wasn't LAST!! in-fact there were about 4 others behind him...

he was saying that the ground clearance was not as good as a K7......

I own a gen 1 Vmax , my bro in law who works for a worldwide property developement company were invited to the launch in the US and a week later Yamaha turned up in their Head office and was allowed to take it for a ride and he said he had never riden anything like it he said the handling was amazing and he owned a 88 model for 5 years

at just under 400kg you'd be risking quite a bit landing any stunts on this thing mate.

The spec I saw said 683lb which is closer to 300kg than 400, though it would certainly be heading up there when fully gassed/oiled up etc.
makes you wonder where all the weight is given that its an aluminium frame, titanium exhausts etc!
The yanks are calling it a 'power cruiser' which probably isn't a bad call.
I kind of like it, don't know if I'd buy one but I certainly wouldn't pass up a ride.

I remember borrowing a V-Boost model of the earlier V-Max and I recall it was a hell of a lot of fun and not as bad a handler as you'd expect.

300KG it was gonna be lighter but no traction :headbang:
