Went for a ride out west yesterday,Titirangi,Huia,ect. :sunny: :ride: :niceone:
Anyway heading up the southern Motoway I saw around 12 or so folks in a group,all riding dark blue dual purpose type bikes heading south.
So who or what was going on there?
The attack of the clones,Tourist group following mother duck,?????
All the bikes looked fairly new,they weren't carrying a lot of gear an they were traveling at a fair pace.

Last time I saw a group like that it about 15 Squaddies with L-plates up riding army Harley/Armstrong off-roaders.15 young guys with the guy supposedly keeping them in check up front,plenty of arseing about and showing off,looked like one big pile-up waiting to happen.

Haha, that was proberbly myself and a couple of others on our bikes doing "training" :shifty:

I saw what was probably that group at Paraparaumu Beach this afternoon. Stopped for a chat (as yr do) They are a group of German Tourists, mostly on hired Yamaha XT600s, with a few on blue BMW F650s. They are doing a 3 week tour AK to bottom of S.I and back to AK via all the usual tourist routes. In Wgtn tonite, early ferry tomorrow and heading to Nelson then West Coast. If you see them say Hi , they seem like decent sorts
