There was a bit of backtracking over a few roads, but that made it fun seeing the other bikes trying to catch up..

There was a bit of backtracking over a few roads. A sign of alzheimer's I think. Glad you enjoyed the run. Any piccies? Now where was I?

It was the way the route was all mapped out....by the organisers..
After coming back over the same road it was like WTF.... oh well...
Plus we were all following the leaders... so we all figured that they knew where they were going..... :spudwhat:

Piccies.. I wish I could put some up here, but I don't own a digi camera...
:( :crybaby:

It was a neat ride thou, lots of windy country roads...

The dude I went with umm discovered that he had no brakes at a certain corner.... near the end.....but he got to the finish ok... went home to sort the brakes out... when something goes on these old bikes they just go...

One guy's tyre blew just as he was coming into the garage... that was it for him.... had to get the van to transport his baby home, without doing the run.

Someone else I heard had trouble with the gearbox on their bike...
I guess thats the joys of owning a real classic bike...

A few old Nortons, BSA, Ariel's and Harley's were there.
