I did about 50km on gravel last weekend . Handles the loose stuff great. Where there's high mounded wheel tracks tho' it's a different propisition - as one wheel is in the loose and the other on 'clean' dirt. It unsettles it a bit, but even then doesn't "wash out" like bikes do.
Really confidence inspiring and predictable when it is occassionally skittish.
Love it! %) GH

Hmmmmm.
An Islander (as in Sth) with Techno babble, huh?
The MP3 is definitely not a figment of cyberspace and electronic acronyms!

Apparently the eyeties reckon it stands for:
Moto (as in cycle/scoota)
Persona (as in rider & possibly pillion)
Trio - as in the number of wheels.
:scooter:

Whatever it means, it's sweet music to my ears -(pun intended?).

Actually, my darling wife is from that way.
Born Roxburgh, shifted to Otematata, Omarama, & left school in Twizel and moved the "real Mainland" in the 80's.
I still think of her as an Islander.

Welcome! No MP3, but a stable mate here - a Vespa GT200. I must have a crack on one of those reverse trikes one day!

And I take exception to the implication that the MP3 is the only good looking Piaggio, EJKDDORAI! :girlfight:

A lady who works in the same building had a BMW 650, sold that and bought a Honda Transalp. Easy enough to follow...

I spoke to her in the lift one day and she was contemplating buying a Goldwing. A bit different....

Next time I spoke to her I asked how the Goldwing purchase was proceeding and she informed me she was going to test ride a 400cc MP3. A lot different.

I'll be interested to hear what she's up to next time I see her.
